Pasta al Pomodoro was amazing and very easy to make .. a great dinner in a hurry ... the tip is to purchase the best quality canned tomatoes available you will taste the difference ... i think the new editor at BON APPETIT is going to bring in a new fresh look and it is GOOD

on 8/24/10 i posted and article about the perfect cheese wedge and this is the final ad  .. after i cut the wedges perfectly.... they asked me to sculpt them to look like mountain tops....

part of my not so glamorous life is to get up and go to work at dark o' thirty (4:30 am ) and cook for the morning network shows... this morning i put together pot pies for CBS and EPICURIOUS .... and just so you know they were delicious and the recipes were not overly complicated.... the vegetable pot pie to my surprise was the stand out .....a great recipe for spring vegetables and soooo easy ...

yes you can be glamorous and cook... the new Glamour cookbook has proved this..... and it is a great book for women who need to dip their toe in the cookbook pool .... there is a certain glamorous girl in las vegas whom i know from personal experience carries everything a girl would need in her car...... either because she never knows what life will bring her next and she wants to be prepared .....or just because she is running late ... i saw this recipe and it made me think of her.... "MAKE IT IN THE CAR ARTICHOKE DIP" ... if this sounds like someone you know ....this cookbook is for you ..

i was working on this book at the conde nast test kitchens and it is featured on NBC " THE TODAY SHOW " today and if you missed it i am sure you can see it online.... great fun hope you enjoy it as much as i did

i was working on a shoot at union square broadcasting live with nick stellino and from my work table i saw my shoot , a shoot for food tv and a film crew from the new york film school shooting both shoots .... who said film is dead in NYC???
